Flight Attendants are apparently complaining that it doesn't paint a "flattering picture" of flight attendants.....ummm.....IT'S A MOVIE!!! MOVIES ARE AN ESCAPE FROM REALITY!!
Besides what is that disclaimer at the end of every movie..something about "Characters, Names, Locations and Events in this movie may not actually be real" or something like that.
People seriously need to relax...

After reading this new rant from the Fran Clan, I am officially in support of impeaching President George W. Bush. This man has abused his power to no end and now he wants to use nuclear weapons in "pre-emptive anti-terrorism strikes".
Doesn't this scare the ever-living crap out of anyone?
Let me figure this out...we are trying to block terrorists from using nukes, so we're going to use nukes preemptively against them. So, in an area where we are thoroughly hated because of Cowboy W's antics-we're going to use preemptive nukes at targets that we're not totally sure of???
Ummm....WHOA-I take issue with this....who in their right mind thinks this will favor world opinion towards us???? Bush needs to be stopped!
Been a rough week....Labor Day @ 8:15am Suz's grandmother passed away. We had just seen her 2 days before at the long-term care facility where she was recovering from a hip fracture and she looked good--depressed but physically better than I'd thought she'd been for quite awhile.
We drove to Perry Monday to make the arrangements for the services, then drove home. Went back Tuesday and did the Funeral Home viewing. Due to the Funeral Home viewing ending at 9pm we stayed in Perry. Then the Funeral service was @ 10:30am Wednesday. Drove to the cemetery and then back to the church (GORGEOUS old Catholic church) and ate at a luncheon.
Grandma was 87...and was in constant irrepairable pain from a knee injury from years ago-also her surgically repaired hip still bothered her. She would've never been able to truly walk unassisted again and with a home that is not wheelchair accessible it would be tragic to have to tell her that she couldn't come home.
All in all its the best for her but it doesn't make it any easier on the rest of us to accept it.

Dear President Bush,
Completely agreeing with CNL, we need to help ourselves. Bring our sons and daughters home to help their own. We are in a time of devastation, death and an uncertain future for residents along the Gulf Coast, which you in your own words said, "has been destroyed". National Guard troops aren't enough.
Bring them home..end the madness of a war gone wrong.
