Doctor Appt

Well, saw the Chief of Rehabilitative Medicine at our local hospital today for my knee issues. Just aches all the time...getting in & out of my chair is getting more and more difficult.

The Doc manipulates my knee and then orders 3 X-Rays to make sure there's no loose material or arthritic changes. Asked me how I get in/out of my chair so I jumped out and showed her. The issue has been narrowed down to basic Wear 'n Tear. I will need to make some home modifications to reduce my stress on my knee.

Veteran's Day

My Father is a veteran....my brother would've served had he not been injured in Boot Camp. I have an immense amount of respect for those who would put their lives on the line to safeguard us.

THANK YOU!

Election Thoughts...

From yesterday's George Carlin calendar:

"In the United States, anybody can be President. That's the problem."

I mourn for our country...most of the Muslim nations on Earth despise us and we're involved in a country that we've committed ourselves to come hell or high water. Our soldiers continue to die in an unwinnable war in Iraq and we can't find Bin Laden....or has Bush hidden him as has been suggested my multiple sources?

Start putting money away folks...things are gonna get tight.

News...

Not much....quiet weekend.

Got the $ for the repairs to the van-completely covered-very pleased. Will happen sometime in January-maybe the week of MLK Jr Day.

Fran updated his blog-please read. Note to Fran: Please let us know the date of Erin's surgery.

Work is fine. Parents, Suz and I saw "The King & I" starring Sandy Duncan last night. Good show...great sets...

I have Thanksgiving off + the Friday after. Looking forward to it.
